This special course covers the topics you want and need to know to help increase your understanding of the Liquefied Gases currently used and transported on ships and barges including LNG, LPG, Ammonia, and the chemical gases; their sources, uses, markets, hazards/requirements, handling, storage, measurement and calculation of required quantities, the tanks they are stored in and the specialty ships that carry them.  Topics covered:
Program Objective:  To provide participants with an understanding of the nature of the Liquefied Gas cargoes being carried on ships today, how they are safely handled, accounted for, stored, transported, and ultimately used.  This course also covers the measurement and calculation of the required quantities including heating values, energy transferred, volumes and mass as required.
